3. Our Response to a Notice

4. Filing a Counter-Notice
If you believe material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to our designated contact that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature;
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location on the Site before removal;
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification;
- Your name, address, and telephone number; and
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or, if outside the United States, an appropriate judicial district), and that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original notice.
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we may, at our discretion and in accordance with the DMCA, restore the removed material unless the original complaining party files a court action seeking to restrain you from the infringing activity.
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
We may, at our discretion, remove content and restrict or terminate the access of contributors or commenters who are found to repeatedly infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
6. False Claims & Misrepresentation
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly submits a materially false takedown notice or counter-notice may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys’ fees incurred by the accused party. Please ensure your claim is accurate and made in good faith before submitting it.
7. Fair Use & Editorial Commentary
Much of the Site’s content consists of news reporting, commentary, and analysis about technology and artificial intelligence, which may reference, quote, or link to third-party sources for the purpose of criticism, comment, or news reporting. We aim to use such material consistent with fair use principles. If you believe a specific use on the Site exceeds fair use, please follow the notice process in so we can review it.

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the “Last Updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
